Scottish Borders Holiday – May 2013

The Spring holiday to the borders was successful in every way! Kathleen Collinge superbly organised the days, which featured contrasting venues and a wonderful hotel – the ‘Blue Bell’ at Belford.
From the outset at Durham cathedral to the finale at Abbotsford refreshments were pre-arranged. Our luck held, with a good assortment of guides, and the weather, although not warm, only dared drizzle at the end of the Manderston afternoon.

Lisbon Holiday – September 2013

Another excellent holiday led by Kathleen Collinge, this time to Lisbon. The weather proved to be extremely kind to those participating, and it is reported that the hotel, guide and coach driver were first rate. Pictured left is the Navigator Memorial (Pam Haworth).
